Volunteers can still sign up to help WWTA establish a new CMT camp site at Pioneer Park, nestled along the Swinomish Channel on the outskirts of the historic Town of LaConner. The work party will be followed by a ceremonial CMT launch/landing site sign installation at the Sherman Avenue boat launch, starting at 2pm with a greeting from LaConner Town Administrator John Doyle and WWTA Executive Director Julie Anderson. After the ceremony, head up to the Pioneer Park picnic shelter for a celebratory cookout. Food and beverage contributions are welcome. Contact emily@wwta.org for more details.
